ECON 431 Quantitative Political Economy

18 points. Semester 1.

Overview

This course examines economic aspects of public policymaking and the interface between economics and political science in both industrialised and developing countries. Topics will include: monetary policy formation; international economic co-operation; the World Bank and International Monetary Fund; the economics of democracy; the economics of violent conflict.
