Research
Research is a major part of business life. At the School of Business
we are actively involved in research. Our Executive Education staff
members are leaders in market research and are regularly called
in as consultants on business projects.
The MBA and the Master of Entrepreneurship all contain a business
project component. For the MBA programme's 540 business/consulting
project (equivalent to four months full-time work), students work
with employers to identify and resolve business issues facing the
company. The Master of Entrepreneurship's incubation project (ENTR
425) involves students working with a local entrepreneur or on a
venture of the own, putting into practice what they have learnt
and reporting on the experience.
The Executive Education unit includes an applied research section
which has been developed to work with businesses to address issues
impacting on them. The research arm conducts market research for
organisations of all sizes, whether your research needs are a basic
two page questionnaire or a comprehensive market analysis. The applied
research arm customises projects to best meet the needs of clients,
and have the proficiency to ensure your project runs smoothly and
obtains the desired outcome.
