The School of Business Dean's PhD Scholarships
The Dean of the School of Business offers Doctoral Scholarships to School of Business students studying towards their PhD and for students not provided for by the University of Otago Postgraduate Scholarships or Awards or by any Scholarship in this schedule. The Award is governed by the same regulations as the University of Otago Postgraduate Scholarship. Note: the current value of this scholarship is:
for PhD study - $7,500 per year for 3 years, plus fees and thesis binding costs (up to $550)

University of Otago Postgraduate Scholarships
The University of Otago offers a range of prestigious scholarships for postgraduate study. Students of outstanding ability are invited to apply for these scholarships.
Macandrew Stout Postgraduate Scholarship in Economics
Anyone who is accepted to do a full-time PhD in the Department of Economics at the University of Otago is eligible to apply for the postgraduate award.
Maori Doctoral Completion Scholarships
Te Mata o te Tau, with assistance from the Innovation and Development Fund (Tertiary Education Commission), is able to offer assistance to doctoral students who are nearing the end of their research. A limited number of scholarships are available and priority will be given to candidates who, in their own opinion and in the opinion of their supervisors, expect to complete the thesis within the next twelve months. The Scholarships will be tenable only during the academic year in which they were awarded.
