How to get selected
The starting point in the process is to compete in the Otago School of Business Case Competition. From this competition a pool of students will be identified to compete in the National Case Competition League. Teams for international competitions will mostly be selected from the Otago teams that have competed in the League. However, from time to time other students are selected. Traditionally, the team for Canada is selected via an audition programme near the end of the year.
The Otago School of Business Case Competition
In 2008 the Otago competition will be held on Saturday 3 May. The competition will be for undergraduate only. There are only places for 12 teams so you need to get your entry in quickly.
Who should I have in my team??
Teams can be of up to four students – most teams have four people. The best approach is to think of the skills that you might need then find the people with those skills – finance, marketing, management, law, presentation skills etc.
