Research Grants

School of Business Research Grant

The Dean of the School of Business has provided a research grants scheme to foster the development of emerging research projects. This scheme is limited in its ability to support projects and must therefore be seen as a seed fund. SoBRGs will be awarded annually and will assist academic staff with projects which may subsequently lead to larger grant requests for University of Otago Research Grants (UORGs), or to external funding bodies. Only in very exceptional circumstances would the Committee award a single grant in this category exceeding $5,000.

Grant applications are also being sought from those researchers who have applied for and missed receiving a University of Otago Research Grant. These grants could be awarded in amounts in excess of $5,000.

Information and application forms for School of Business Research Grants will be posted at each funding round.
