Stephen Dobson
BSc(Econ)(Hull),
MA, PhD (CNAA)
Stephen joined the Department in 2002 from the Queen's University
of Belfast. He has also taught at the Universities of Hull, Leeds
and Reading as well as at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad.
Stephen's main research interest is the economics of professional
team sports, while his teaching interests include microeconomics
and sports economics.
Stephen currently serves on the editorial boards of the Journal
of Sports Economics, the International Journal of Sport
Finance, and the International Journal of Sports Science
and Engineering.
