Postgraduate Courses in Economics

The Department offers a range of programmes at the postgraduate level.

Postgraduate Diplomas (PGDipCom and PGDipArts) and the MBus are taught courses (although the MBus contains a research component and Postgraduate Diploma students have the option of doing a research dissertation). Further information about these taught course programmes is available.

The PhD is a research-only degree. A Master's degree involves a one-year research-only programme or a two-year coursework and research programme depending on your background. Further information on the Master's and PhD programmes is available.
